System review
A company very dependent on IT, Cohesia appointed Prime Technology to carry out a system review to understand how the various pieces of technology it owned could be more integrated to provide a better and reliant supply of information.

Professional advice
Since the system review 2 ½ years ago, Prime Technology have advised Cohesia on various issues including how to ‘troubleshoot’ problems, in and out of support hours and guided them on what hardware and software to purchase, always taking into consideration their long term business requirements.

The move to remote working
“The majority of our staff spend a lot of time away from the office overseas so it was essential that we could access our emails and files remotely” said Professor Tomlins. “Prime Technology recommended we therefore install ‘LogMeIn’ software on all our PCs so we can all log in remotely wherever we are in the world. Our work doesn’t stop just because we’re not in the office.”

Prime Technology also have access to Cohesia’s systems remotely meaning that costs for attending the client’s premises and fixing issues onsite is minimal; with downtime purely for essential maintenance. Prime Technology are also able to continuously monitor the systems to pre-empt any issues that may arise, ultimately saving the business money.
